Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 2026
This privacy policy applies to the AIEP Hub website at aiep.dev and its subdomains, operated by AIEP Ltd.
What data we collect
Automatically collected data
When you visit this site, standard web server and CDN logs may record:
- IP address (anonymised at the network edge where technically possible)
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and timestamps
- Referrer URL
- HTTP status codes
This data is processed by Cloudflare (our CDN and DNS provider) under their privacy policy and is used solely for security, abuse prevention, and aggregate traffic analysis.
Visit counters
The Hub displays aggregate human and AI crawler visit counts. These counters are incremented per page visit. No individual user profile is built. No persistent identifier is stored in connection with a counter increment.
Contact form
If you contact us using the contact form at /contact, we collect only the information you provide (name, email, and message). This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
No tracking cookies
We do not set first-party tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party behavioural tracking on this site.
Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie (__cf_bm) for bot detection purposes. This is a functional security measure, not a tracking cookie.
How we use data
- To serve pages and ensure site availability
- To detect and prevent abuse, scraping attacks, and security threats
- To produce aggregate, anonymised statistics (total page views, crawler activity)
- To respond to contact enquiries
We do not use personal data for advertising. We do not sell data to third parties.

AI crawlers and machine access
AIEP Hub explicitly permits AI crawler access. The /.well-known/aiep/ surface is designed for machine retrieval. Crawl data is not personal data and is not subject to this privacy policy.
The robots.txt file at /robots.txt defines crawler access permissions.
Your rights
If you are located in the United Kingdom or European Economic Area, you have rights under UK GDPR / GDPR including the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address on the contact page.
Data retention
Log data is retained for up to 30 days for security purposes. Contact enquiry data is retained for as long as necessary to respond and then deleted on request.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when the policy changes and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be noted on the changelog.
