[0002] More particularly, the disclosure concerns a distributed hypothesis simulation coordination engine for use within AIEP federation networks, enabling multiple nodes to collaboratively simulate competing hypotheses against partitioned world state representations, pooling simulation outputs into a governed joint result without requiring any single node to hold complete world state.

[0004] A computer-implemented distributed hypothesis simulation coordination engine comprises: accepting a FederatedSimulationRequest specifying: hypothesis_id, simulation_scope, participating_node_ids, coordination_node_id, and timeout_seconds; assigning each participating node a SimulationPartitionAssignment covering the world state partition (P261) and evidence subset relevant to that node’s domain; each participating node executing an independent HypothesisSimulationRun against its assigned partition, producing a PartialSimulationResult containing: local_consistency_score, causal_constraint_violations, supporting_evidence_ids, and partial_conclusion; the coordination_node aggregating PartialSimulationResults into a FederatedSimulationSummary, computing: global_consistency_score as weighted mean of local_consistency_scores weighted by partition_evidence_density, union of causal_constraint_violations, and a CombinedConclusion merging partial conclusions by declared inference_method; generating a FederatedSimulationRecord as a first-class evidence artefact carrying all PartialSimulationResults, the FederatedSimulationSummary, and full participating_node provenance; and surfacing irreconcilable cross-partition causal violations as FederatedCausalConflictRecords for escalation to P269.

[0005] The technical effect is modification of computing system behaviour by enabling multi-node collaborative hypothesis simulation that exploits distributed domain knowledge while maintaining full simulation provenance across node boundaries.


Claims

[0007] A computer-implemented method for distributed hypothesis simulation coordination comprising: distributing SimulationPartitionAssignments to participating nodes; aggregating PartialSimulationResults at a coordination node; computing global consistency scores and combined conclusions; generating FederatedSimulationRecords as evidence artefacts; and escalating irreconcilable causal conflicts for arbitration.

[0008] A system for distributed hypothesis simulation coordination comprising one or more processors and a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions to execute the method of claim 1.
